Software for the DSP Empty
PostSubject: Software for the DSP   Software for the DSP Icon_minitimeTue Nov 10, 2009 1:05 am

So I understand that the DPS DSP (make it more confusing please) software does some special stuff that we can't know. Can we at least get some software to equalize the 30 band EQ ourselves? or maybe a reduced synthesized 15/9 band EQ?

I've used the default profile on the CD which was bad, and every one of the beta profiles have problems. If this product isn't ready for market and still a "beta" test, why waste everyone's money and your rep and JVC's rep on this product?

My current solutions are to buy more speakers and use crossovers to balance the inefficiencies or to buy a new head unit. You should also try responding to williamk10 about speaker recommendations. It'd help everyone else in trying to figure out what you guys think are "aftermarket" speakers.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll be posting a new topic here called "History of the KD-S100" to clear up these questions.
