| I would still like to try this one out but if whats out now is all thats going to be released then its a little risk.
Did they not tun the software with this deck for any cars with actual good systems in it?
from what I read its all like " well we tuned the deck to make the crap factory stuff sound good"
did none of these car profiles have good stuff? or were they all American cars with delco junk in it? | |

did none of these car profiles have good stuff? or were they all American cars with delco junk in it? Pretty much any entry level or non-luxury auto will have a pretty cheap audio system. Couple that with louder road noise and you end up with a less than pleasing sonic experience Also, when custom tuned, a car with a decent system can sound absolutely amazing. I really wish our users could have access to even some of the controls for tuning but that requires a specially modified radio from JVC not to mention interface electronics to generate a profile that any KD-S100 owner can use. Hey, if you are unsure, there's always the 30 day return policy, right? As I've mentioned to others, the profile variation VAR SUB 03 has very minimal processing. You have access to all of the radio's features but don't have to have your nice amps and speakers compete with the Digital Power Station processing as much. You won't know till you try. Joe | |
